The school day ends. The exploring continues. Our Spanish immersion after-school program at Alma Flor Ada, in partnership with Lake Elmo Elementary, gives school-age children a safe, fun place to learn, create, move, and connect.

What is After-School Explorers?
After-School Explorers is a Spanish immersion after-school program at Alma Flor Ada, in partnership with Lake Elmo Elementary. Designed for school-age children, it provides a safe, fun, and enriching environment with academic support, cultural enrichment, creative activities, and play.
What are the program hours?
Monday through Friday, 2:45 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The daily schedule includes arrival, snack and social time, academic support, enrichment, outdoor play, creative choice, and pickup.
How much does After-School Explorers cost?
The program is $110 per week and includes a healthy snack and all program activities.
Is there time for homework?
Yes. The 3:30 to 4:15 p.m. block combines academic support, including homework help, with enrichment activities that build confidence and learning skills.
