Our Programs
From first words to kindergarten ready
AFA is built around a 5-level progression system. Every child begins in Early Pre-K (Level 101) at age 16 months and advances through five intentionally designed levels, either annually or earlier when teachers and staff evaluate they are ready emotionally and academically.

K-Readiness
Our level system honors each child's individual development pace. We do not push children forward before they are ready, and we do not hold them back when they are. Teachers and staff continuously evaluate each child's emotional readiness, language acquisition, social development, and academic foundations to determine the right time to advance.
Early Pre-K
Where the journey begins. Our youngest learners build language, friendships, and confidence through play, music, and bilingual daily routines.
Pre-K
Two progression levels where children deepen their Spanish vocabulary, build foundational academic skills, and develop emotional fluency.
Kindergarten Readiness
Our highest levels prepare children for elementary school with bilingual literacy, math foundations, and the emotional confidence to thrive anywhere next.
How Children Advance
Our evaluation process is continuous and holistic. Teachers look for milestones in emotional regulation, social independence, language comprehension, and academic readiness. Whether you are just starting to explore Spanish immersion preschool in Woodbury or weighing exactly what to look for in a program, we partner closely with families, discussing progress regularly so that when the time comes to advance to the next level, everyone is confident the child is ready to thrive.

Native Spanish-speaking teachers
Authentic pronunciation, rhythm, idiom, and culture from educators across the Spanish-speaking world, not textbook Spanish.
Transparent tuition
You know exactly what enrollment costs before you ever tour. No surprises and no pressure, with monthly options and sibling discounts.

40 weeks of 90/10 Spanish immersion plus 12 weeks of summer STEM and language programming, on a calendar that fits Woodbury families.
