Alma Flor Ada Spanish Immersion Early Learning Academy is a premier bilingual education center dedicated to nurturing young minds through innovative programming. Our curriculum emphasizes Spanish language acquisition, STEM, environmental science, and social-emotional learning, catering to children aged 16 months to 6 years.
We pride ourselves on providing high-quality education and care in a culturally rich environment, complemented by family style nutritious and healthy meals prepared by El Machete Restaurant.
Position Summary
The Early Childhood Administrator serves as the business leader of our center, responsible for its operational and educational excellence. This role includes overseeing enrollment, financial performance, compliance, and family engagement. The Administrator will lead staff management, ensure regulatory compliance, and enhance the educational experience for children and families.
Key Responsibilities
Business & Financial Management
- Drive center performance and growth while managing expenses.
- Monitor enrollment metrics and improve conversion rates.
- Manage inventory and execute marketing strategies to boost enrollment.
Leadership & Team Management
- Build and retain a high-performing team aligned with our values.
- Ensure compliance with staffing ratios and training requirements.
- Conduct regular coaching and performance evaluations.
Operational Excellence & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and licensing regulations.
- Achieve positive results in inspections and audits.
- Maintain accurate records and manage incident reporting.
Educational Leadership
- Conduct classroom observations and provide constructive feedback.
- Ensure lesson plans meet early childhood standards.
- Collaborate with families to support child development.
Family Experience
- Foster a responsive and inclusive family environment.
- Address inquiries and feedback promptly and professionally.
- Ensure smooth onboarding and transitions for families.
Facility Management
- Maintain a clean and organized center.
- Oversee facility maintenance and address issues promptly.
Qualifications
Experience: 2-3 years in leadership, preferably in education.
Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
Licensure: Must meet director qualifications defined by Minnesota Administrative Rules.
Language Skills: Fluent in English and Spanish (preferred).
Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
Certifications: CPR and First Aid certified.
