How Children Advance

When children are ready, they advance to Pre-K (Level 102). Readiness is evaluated by teachers based on language progress, social development, and emotional indicators, all nurtured through the 90/10 immersion model. Most children spend one school year in Early Pre-K before advancing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is 16 months too young to start Spanish immersion?
Not at all. The toddler years are an ideal window, when the brain absorbs new languages with remarkable ease. Children this age learn Spanish the same way they learned their first language, through play, songs, routines, and relationships.
Will my toddler be upset in a Spanish-only classroom?
Our teachers are experts at gentle transitions. They use warmth, gesture, context, and a little English reassurance when a child truly needs it, so toddlers feel safe and understood from day one.
When will my child start speaking Spanish?
Understanding comes first. Most children begin understanding Spanish within weeks and speaking words and phrases within months. Real conversation develops naturally over their years with us.
Do you support diapering, naps, and feeding at this age?
Yes. Early Pre-K is built around the full needs of toddlers, including rest time, diapering, and nutritious meals and snacks, all woven into a gentle, Spanish-immersed daily rhythm.
